As with many gel products, this tape absorbs shock very well, while still being firm enough to allow for excellent control. Besides, it is virtually weightless. It is well worth the expense and time to install.

The best aspect of the Forza Gel Tape is that, while wrapping the bar, you can pull it tightly without having to worry about it breaking. It has just enough stretch to make the job easier without being flimsy. There is a light adhesive on the back of the tape so it stays put. The tape provides a little extra padding on the bar but you will still need to use padded gloves if you like to ride with arms extended, head up with your hands on top of the bar. A big plus is that Forza tape does not get slippery when wet. It is rubberized and soft so it lays down well and easy to cut with a sharp blade or scissors. The two rolls come with a very serviceable pair of chrome plastic bar end plugs. The instructions that are included are a little weak but if you need better bar tape installation instructions just search online; there are several good ones.
