Comments about Aerus Composites AERUS C4TT INTEGRATED AERO BAR TRI/TT 40CM CYCLING:

Once I got the bars set up, I had to cut the back-end of the adjustable bars so that my knees wouldn't hit them when I got out of the saddle ( hills & sprint ). Had them on the bike for a couple months now & like this setup much better than bolt-ons.

Comments about Aerus Composites AERUS C4TT INTEGRATED AERO BAR TRI/TT 40CM CYCLING:

This is by far the best, if not only set of triathlon/TT bars for under $100 new. It is heavier than a lot of its competitors but also take into account the integrated stem that some other bars may not come with.
It is rock solid at speed, and stays stiff while handling.
I used this barset for a few amateur triathlon sprints and even a half tri, and it is a great advantage over drop bars if you are considering it. I didn't have $300 to spend on bars so I got these, and I am glad I did.
Also, I appreciate that the extension can be installed in two different configurations with narrow uprights, or wide-set inward angles.
Make sure to vise down those forearm pads. It takes more force than you would think to keep them from slipping.
Perfect installation of Can Creek aero levers that worked flawlessly.

Comments about Aerus Composites AERUS C4TT INTEGRATED AERO BAR TRI/TT 40CM CYCLING:

the part of the stem that wraps around the fork tube is really high and leaves little room for adjustment. its really strong. but its heavy and lacks refinement. there are no drilled holes for brake or deraillieur cables to be internally routed through basebar like most other models. pads are left-right adjustable not fore-aft adjustable. would recommend for trialist on budget or reselling bike.
